CNC Lathe Machines Parts:
CNC Lathe Machines are equipped with CNC Controls and known as CNC Lathe Machines.
Here we are describing the core parts of Lathe Machines in a proper manner:
Headstock:
Headstock of a CNC lathe machine have the main motor of cnc lathe machine which drives the main spindle. Chuck is mounted on this main spindle.
Headstock is the core functional part of the lathe machine. This parts is connected with main spindle, the change gears and the speed change mechanism.
Bed:
The Bed is the base of headstock. It allows to set the carriage and tailstock in a parallel position with the spindle axis.
Tailstock and carriage contains the part of the lathe machines. This carriage moves on the rack and pinion system. To gear the lathe machine there are two parts, the feed and the lead screw.
Carriage:
Carriage is operated by the feed crew and shaft of the machine. It is a tool bit that turns into perpendicular or longitudinal direction.
Feed and Leadscrew:
Feed crew drive the gear box to change and also operates the gears. You must have gears of good quality if you want that ratio will be better.
The Cross Slide:
This part is used to sit on the top of the carriage. Cross Slide part is the combination of both main spindle axis and a leadscrew.
Guard:
The guard protects this machine by protecting the CNC machine Operator.
Motor:
Motor rotates the chunk of this machine.
Cutting Tool:
It is used to cut the all kind of material.
